Guidance grounded in the way Nivel works.

Helpful answers for homeowners preparing to request an estimate from Nivel Build Co. The goal is to explain the process clearly without making promises before the scope, availability, insurance/registration status, and project fit are confirmed.

Estimate requests are open. Availability depends on scope and schedule. Share the ZIP, work needed, and photos when available so Nivel can confirm the next step.

Project FAQ

Are estimate requests open now?

Yes. Estimate requests are open. Scheduling depends on project scope, location, availability, and applicable trade requirements. Send the property address, project type, photos if available, preferred timing, and the best contact method.

What affects scheduling and approval to start?

Scheduling is confirmed only after the written scope, customer decisions, access, weather, materials, trade availability, travel, and the active project calendar are reviewed. Any required contractor registration, licensing, insurance, permits, trade-partner requirements, and project-specific approvals must also be active or confirmed.

What areas does Nivel Build Co. serve?

Nivel Build Co. is based in Moon Township. The normal service area is approximately 35 air miles from Moon Township, with availability depending on the requested scope, access, travel, and schedule.

How do I know if my ZIP code is within the review area?

Use the Service Areas page to check your ZIP code. A listed ZIP means the area is within or near the intended review area, not that every project can be accepted.

What should I send when requesting an estimate?

Send the property address, requested work, visible concerns, preferred timing, photos if available, and your name, phone number, email, and preferred contact method.

Can I send photos before an in-person visit?

Yes. Photos often help Nivel understand the concern, identify the likely service path, and decide whether an in-person review or additional information is needed.

What affects pricing?

Pricing depends on measurements, access, existing conditions, material selection, preparation, disposal, permits when required, required trades, scheduling, and any concealed conditions discovered during the project.

What are Nivel’s business hours?

Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday: Closed.

What payment methods does Nivel accept?

Cash, check, ACH/bank transfer, major credit cards, and debit cards. Eligible credit-card payments may include a processing fee of up to 3% when disclosed before payment. Debit and prepaid cards are not surcharged.

Does Nivel currently offer financing?

Nivel Build Co. does not currently offer financing. Customers may use their own financing or banking partners, and Nivel plans to evaluate third-party financing options in the future.

How are written scopes handled?

Written scopes identify the requested work, included preparation, materials or assumptions, exclusions, access needs, payment terms, and how changes or hidden conditions will be handled.

How are change orders handled?

Changes should be documented with the added work, cost, and scheduling impact before the added work proceeds. This protects both the homeowner and the project team.

What happens if hidden damage is discovered?

Hidden damage is documented and reviewed before additional work proceeds. The next step may be a written change, a revised scope, or a recommendation for a specialized trade.

Does Nivel handle exterior work?

Nivel reviews exterior work such as roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, decks, porches, trim, carpentry, masonry-adjacent details, and qualifying exterior repairs.

Does Nivel handle roofing and siding?

Nivel handles roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, flashing-adjacent details, exterior trim, and related repair scopes when existing conditions and the written scope support the work.

Does Nivel handle interior remodeling?

Nivel reviews interior remodeling and finish work, including flooring, drywall, painting, trim, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, carpentry, and repairs.

Does Nivel handle flooring, drywall, kitchens, and bathrooms?

Yes. Scope, access, product selections, required trades, current conditions, and schedule shape the written plan for those projects.

Does Nivel handle masonry, decks, porches, carpentry, and repairs?

Nivel reviews masonry and stonework, decks, porches, carpentry, punch lists, and multi-trade repair work when the scope can be defined responsibly.

Are subcontractors or trade partners used?

Nivel is building toward dedicated in-house capacity while presently coordinating qualified specialty crews where appropriate. Crew responsibilities, insurance documentation, regulated-trade requirements, supervision, communication, quality control, and closeout expectations are addressed for the approved scope. Not every worker is a Nivel employee.

Are project photos, project spotlights, or testimonials published?

Only real project information approved for public use should be published. Nivel does not publish fake project proof, customer names, addresses, reviews, ratings, or testimonials.

What happens if my project is outside the standard review area?

You may still request an estimate. Nivel will review the address, scope, access, timing, travel, and trade needs before deciding whether the project can be evaluated.

A clear first message helps Nivel determine whether the project is ready for an estimate, needs more information, or should be reviewed by a specialized trade.

Photos that help

  • Wide photos of the full elevation, roof area, room, porch, deck, or repair location.
  • Close photos of visible damage, leaks, trim, flashing, rot, cracks, or finish concerns.
  • Access photos showing driveways, gates, slopes, utilities, landscaping, and work-area constraints.

Pricing and scheduling factors

  • Measurements, height, pitch, layers, substrate condition, disposal, and material selection.
  • Weather, lead times, required trades, permits when needed, access, and customer decisions.
  • Hidden damage, unsafe conditions, or specialized work that changes the approved scope.

Why written scopes matter

  • They define what is included, what is excluded, and which assumptions still need approval.
  • They set expectations for cleanup, access, protection, changes, and concealed conditions.
  • They help the homeowner compare real scopes instead of vague promises.
